Job summary

Dewberry is seeking Site/Civil Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 in our Virginia Beach, VA office to work on projects for commercial and government clients. You will join a team of professionals applying the latest technology to solve challenging problems in site/civil design and capital improvement.

A housing stipend may be provided to eligible candidates. The program offers hands-on experience, workshops, and a chance to work on meaningful projects with firm leaders.

Qualifications

Pursuing a BS/MS in Civil Engineering.
Prior internship experience preferred.
Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office required.
Excellent written and verbal communication; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

Support site/civil development with grading and roadway design.
Prepare calculations, reports, and spreadsheets.
Collaborate on design teams to develop construction documents.
May conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permits.
