Freedom School Partners seeks Servant Leader Interns to serve scholars in Charlotte, NC. Interns act as tutors, mentors, and literacy leaders, facilitating reading activities and enrichment experiences during a 9.5‑week program.

The role requires energy, professionalism, and teamwork, with roughly 300 hours of direct service and leadership responsibilities. Training precedes six weeks of active classroom engagement in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old and a current college student or early-career professional.
• Documented experience leading and working with youth through employment, volunteer service, or leadership roles.
• Maturity, professionalism, and strong communication skills to supervise children and work on a team.
• Commitment to children’s advocacy and servant leadership across diverse cultures.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain full-time attendance from late May through early August 2027, including training, program days, enrichment activities, team meetings, and occasional evening events.
• Serve as primary mentor and leader of scholars, creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment.
• Personalize and submit lesson plans and supply lists based on weekly themes and the Integrated Reading Curriculum.
