Job summary

A community-focused organization in North Carolina seeks a Summer Enrichment Assistant to help deliver full-day literacy-based summer programs for youth in grades K-5. This role involves assisting in the planning and implementation of activities, supporting daily attendance, and maintaining the safety of children. Ideal candidates are pursuing early childhood education or have flexible summer schedules. A High School Diploma or GED and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience working with youth.
• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• A valid driver license with three years of driving experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing summer activities.
• Support daily attendance and child nutrition duties.
• Maintain safety and security of youth.
