Summer Seasonal Junior Lifeguards - Arapahoe Ridge HOA

Join us as a Summer Seasonal Junior Lifeguard at YMCA of Northern Colorado & Southern Wyoming.

Location: Arapahoe Ridge, 1750 Powell St, Erie, CO 80516

Hours: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 11:45 am - 6:15 pm

Salary: $14.81/hour, with a +10% bilingual premium for fluent Spanish/English speakers.

All branches of the YMCA of Northern Colorado are hiring summer junior lifeguards. We promote memberships, fitness, youth sports, aquatics, social activities, and early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and promote a welcoming environment at our pool.
• Monitor pool and hot tub safety.
• Maintain pool cleanliness, water quality, and troubleshoot issues.
• Interact positively with members, staff, and children.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 15 (look for our Lifeguard posts if 16+).
• Current YMCA, Red Cross, or equivalent Lifeguard certification.
• First Aid, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and Oxygen Administration certifications.
• Ability to maintain physical and mental readiness.
• Demonstrate lifeguard skills per YMCA standards.
