Edconic is seeking a School Nurse for a temporary live-in Summer program in New York. The nurse will care for ill or injured campers and staff, manage medications, and maintain medical records within the Student Information System.

Qualifications include NY RN or LPN licensure, CPR certification, and at least 2 years in a related role with experience around children or youth. The position requires on-call weekend work and up to 40 hours per week, with housing and meals provided and a $12,000

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years in a comparable position.
• Experience working with children or youth preferred.
• Must be CPR certified and able to work under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee health office operations and maintain medical information.
• Administer medications and manage first-aid kits.
• Maintain daily log of office visits and health communications with parents/counselors.
• Respond to illnesses and injuries and provide First Aid.
• Coordinate with parents, counselors and health resources as needed.
