Job summary

Township High School District 214 seeks two Co- Principals for the High School Summer School. They will lead the educational and operational aspects of the summer program, plan, organize, implement, and evaluate all activities, and ensure a safe, engaging learning environment focused on credit recovery and enrichment.

Responsibilities include directing daily operations, supervising staff, managing budgets, and coordinating with district offices to report enrollment and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current administrators or certified teachers with administrative endorsements.
• Strong planning and organizational skills for summer programs.
• Experience with IEPs and 504 plans where applicable.
• Budget preparation and monitoring for summer programs.
• Ability to recruit, supervise and evaluate staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of the summer school program aligning with curriculum standards.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and use of facilities for summer sessions.
• Monitor student progress, credit recovery, and enrichment goals.
• Ensure compliance with IEPs/504 and support English Learners.
• Coordinate with Transportation, Health Office, Nutritional Services and HR for staff.
