Job summary

Steinhafels is seeking a Summer Sales & Leadership Intern to become a trained member of our sales team, work directly with customers, and gain hands-on experience in professional sales while learning how different areas of the business work together.

During the summer you’ll work with Steinhafels sales and store leaders while gaining exposure to marketing, e-commerce, merchandising, customer service, human resources, accounting, and other areas of our organization.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using and training on computers.
• Available to work standard retail business hours, including nights and weekends.
• Interest in sales, marketing, business and management.

Responsibilities

• Asking probing questions to understand the customers’ needs.
• Guiding customers through the store and directing them to products, which meet their needs.
• Clarifying differences in products.
• Arranging payment and delivery for sales.
• Accurately completing all necessary paperwork.
• Customer follow-up via phone calls and/or thank you note.
• Utilizing good sales techniques, while following all company procedures.
• Always keeping customer satisfaction as the top priority.
