Job summary

Steinhafels is looking for motivated interns who want more than a typical summer internship. As a Summer Sales & Leadership Intern, you’ll become a trained member of our sales team, work directly with customers, and gain hands-on experience in professional sales.

Throughout the summer you’ll work with Steinhafels leaders while gaining exposure to marketing, e-commerce, merchandising, customer service, HR, and accounting.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using computers and training on store systems.
• Available to work standard retail hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Asking probing questions to understand the customers’ needs.
• Guiding customers through the store and directing them to products which meet their needs.
• Clarifying differences in products.
• Arranging payment and delivery for sales.
• Accurately completing all necessary paperwork.
• Customer follow‑up via phone calls and/or thank you notes.
• Utilizing good sales techniques, while following all company procedures.
• Always keeping customer satisfaction as the top priority.
