Job summary

Steinhafels Furniture is seeking a Summer Sales & Leadership Intern to become a trained member of our sales team, working directly with customers and gaining hands-on experience in professional sales while learning how different areas of the business collaborate.

During the summer, you’ll gain exposure to marketing, e-commerce, merchandising, customer service, human resources, accounting, and other departments.

Qualifications

• Seeking students interested in sales, marketing, business and management.
• Must be comfortable using and training on computers.
• Available to work standard retail business hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ask probing questions to understand customers’ needs.
• Guide customers through store and direct them to products, which meet their needs.
• Clarify differences in products.
• Arrange payment and delivery for sales.
• Accurately completing all necessary paperwork.
• Customer follow-up via phone calls and/or thank you note.
• Utilizing good sales techniques, while following all company procedures.
• Always keeping customer satisfaction as the top priority.
