Job summary

MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Lexington, MA invites a Summer Research Program Graduate Intern for 2027 within the Tactical Defense Systems Group. The intern will assist engineering staff in data analysis, algorithm development, software development, and digital signal processing, with a chance to document and present results to the group.

The SRP runs 10–12 weeks, typically May through early August, with housing support for eligible non-local interns, a one-time relocation payment, and complimentary

Qualifications

Pursuing a graduate degree in engineering or related field with hands-on experience in software development, GUI development, real-time software, MATLAB or C++ programming, FPGA programming, digital design, DSP, image processing or AI/ML.

Responsibilities

Assist engineering staff with data analysis and algorithm development.
Contribute to software development and DSP projects.
Document and present results to the group upon completion of demonstrations.
