Job summary

The Committee for Public Counsel Services in Boston is offering a Summer Racial Justice Internship Program. Interns will be assigned to work with the Training Department and the Equity & Inclusion Department to support our mission and initiatives.

Interns gain hands-on experience in legal research and policy analysis, contribute to trainings on implicit bias and race equity, and collaborate with attorneys, investigators, and advocates in a supportive, justice-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be current undergraduate, graduate, or law student committed to racial and social justice.
• Able to commit to at least 8 weeks of full-time employment for the Summer.
• Preferred coursework in evidence, criminal law, constitutional law, and trial advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and writing for racial justice initiatives.
• Assist in preparing race-based trainings and data collection projects.
