Job summary

Covestro seeks a QC Lab Intern for a 3-month summer assignment (May–Aug 2027) at the Frankfort, IN facility. You will support QC testing, calibration, data recording, and safety compliance in a collaborative lab environment.

Enrollment in a relevant Bachelor's program (Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biology) with freshman year completed is required, with GPA 3.0+ preferred and a willingness to learn and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at the time of the internship (May 2027–Aug 2027).
• Majors: Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology.
• Freshman year completed.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred; sophomore year helpful.

Responsibilities

• Polymer emulsion QC testing including GC, viscometer, pH, solids, and particle size
• Calibration and verification of lab equipment
• Data and record keeping
• Abide by laboratory safety procedures and protocols
• Interns will work under general supervision but with a high degree of independence once trained
