Job summary

Leidos is seeking a summer Project Management Intern to support the SMIT program under Agile Solution Delivery. You will work with project managers on coordination, stakeholder communication, and project lifecycle activities within a defense contracting setting, gaining exposure to NMCI backbone services and cybersecurity initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in business, IT, or CIS with sophomore year or higher.
• Excellent written and oral communication with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• GPA of 3.0 or better.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with day-to-day activities, tracking tasks, schedules, and milestones.
• Collect and analyze project data, prepare status reports and dashboards.
• Draft emails, schedule meetings, and maintain stakeholder contact lists.
• Contribute to development of PM templates, checklists, and SOPs.
• Provide general administrative support for SMIT program activities.
