Job summary

Goodfellow Bros. (GBI) invites engineering interns to join the Maple Valley, WA team for a 12-week summer program beginning in 2027.

Under supervision, you will assist with construction-related duties, including layout, form design, and subcontract monitoring, gaining hands-on experience in project engineering. You will learn change order preparations, plan checks, documentation control, quality and safety monitoring while supporting Project Engineers, Estimators, and Project Managers on active

Qualifications

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related major
• Legal right to work in the US without employer sponsorship
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel for project needs

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager/engineers/estimators with construction duties including layout, form design and subcontract monitoring
• Track work hour utilization and productivity for projects
• Maintain files of material suppliers, labor laws, and subcontractors by category
• Support field personnel with manual construction tasks as needed
• Coordinate material deliveries and subcontract work with progress schedule
• Prepare data for monthly invoices and job cost reports
