Job summary

Ryan Companies has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Engineer Intern in Minneapolis for 2027. The internship runs May–August, or Spring Co-op January–August, or Fall Co-op May–December, with the aim of learning construction processes, policies and project coordination.

You will assist the project team with budgets, schedules, safety, and quality control, while developing skills in reading contracts and drawings and communicating clearly in writing and speech.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/management or related field and within 18 months of graduating.
• Able to work 40 hours per week for at least a three-month term.

Responsibilities

• Gain working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts and change orders.
• Develop understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.
• Assist project team in completion of designated projects while learning construction processes and Ryan policies.
