Job summary

STR, a growing technology company, seeks a Project Coordinator Intern to support planning, coordination, and execution of STR's initiatives at the Arlington, VA site. The role offers hands-on experience in schedule coordination, budget tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communications.

You will work with cross-functional teams to keep projects organized, track milestones, complete deliverables, and communicate project information effectively.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in project management or related field.
• U.S. citizen due to STR's work and regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning and coordination activities, tracking schedules and milestones.
• Assist with developing and maintaining project plans, status reports, trackers, and presentations.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Support budget tracking, expense monitoring, and data analysis for project performance.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document minutes, and track action items.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, spreadsheets, and reporting tools in Excel.
• Prepare presentations for internal stakeholders and leadership using PowerPoint.
• Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams for project alignment.
• Assist with process improvements and documenting workflows.
• Maintain accurate project records and supporting documentation.
• Support special projects and strategic initiatives as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
