Job summary

RedGuard seeks a Project Coordinator Intern for its 2027 Summer Internship Program in Kansas. May 17–August 6, 2027, you will work with sales, design, project management and manufacturing to support custom blast-resistant buildings.

You will compile documents, take meeting notes, manage close-out tasks, track billing milestones, and assist with document control and scope development under supervision. This role offers hands-on learning across multiple disciplines and real-world projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or certification in Construction Management or Project Management.
• Enrolled in coursework related to General Construction Studies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong verbal communication skills; well-organized with effective time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM Team in reviewing proposals and contracts to confirm scope, schedule, and budget.
• Maintain consistent communication, collaboration, and documentation for projects.
• Manage processes to keep projects moving forward in a timely manner.
• Perform administrative tasks including document control, meeting minutes, and scheduling.
• Prepare completion project reports for management or clients.
• Assist with small projects and ensure quality/compliance requirements are met.
