Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu, Hawaii is seeking an Assistant Program Coordinator for the Ho’omāka’ika’i summer program. The role supports overnight sessions, coordinates daily activities, and provides leadership and guidance on curriculum and program delivery.

The candidate will oversee staff, coordinate evaluations, and ensure safety and engagement across day and night sessions, including field trips and hikes, with travel to different locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related field.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with staff, students and parents; strong communication.

Responsabilités

• Serve as operational coordinator for the program and ensure continuity of activities.
• Provide educational leadership and guidance on instructional methods and curriculum development.
• Coordinate and communicate program evaluation plans and feedback for staff performance.
• Oversee staff coaching and performance evaluations; ensure KS policies are followed.
• Assist in program logistics, travel coordination, and day-to-day communications with families.
