Job summary

Divergent is seeking a Summer 2027 Production Business Intelligence Intern to join our team in Torrance, CA. You will analyze datasets, build robust data tools, and help maintain data integrity across the company, working with Excel, Python, SQL, and BI platforms.

The 12-week internship focuses on data-driven insights, cross-functional collaboration, and contributing to ongoing BI initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in Excel, Python, SQL required or preferred.
• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis and Reporting: Extract, transform, and analyze datasets using BI tools.
• Manage Company-Wide BI Assets: Build and improve data tools for clean data access.
• Data Integrity Analysis: Create scalable automated exception reports and maintain data health.
