Job summary

PIMCO invites undergraduates to join the Summer Internship in Product Strategy Analyst role at our Newport Beach, CA headquarters. The 10-week program runs from early June to mid-August, with hands-on experiences and mentorship from senior leaders, plus exposure to AI-powered tools from day one.

You'll gain insight into investment management, market updates, portfolio analysis, and cross-divisional education, with relocation support if applicable.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
• Eligible to begin full-time employment from January 2028 to August 2028.
• Must be enrolled at a university during Fall 2027 (Aug 2027–Dec 2027).
• Have a minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale at an accredited 4-year college or university.
• Must be willing to work in Newport Beach, CA.

Responsibilities

• Provide market and economic updates.
• Prepare portfolio commentaries.
• Contribute to portfolio construction and analysis.
• Assist in competitor intelligence.
• Develop client presentation materials.
• Support risk and performance attribution.
• Develop AI tools to improve workflows.
