Job summary

Wisconsin Electric Power, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, invites you to join its Power Generation Engineering intern program in Union Grove, Wisconsin. The internship runs May/June 2027 through the summer, offering real-world, hands-on experience in plant and project engineering with competitive pay.

You will apply classroom knowledge, work on planning, technical support, and environmental compliance, and gain exposure to equipment performance, reliability, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or HSED.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a graduation date after July 2027.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in plant and project engineering, planning, technical support and environmental compliance.
• Assist in monitoring and evaluating equipment and system performance while maintaining reliability, safety and regulatory compliance.
• This internship starts in Summer 2027.
