Job description

Midtown is looking for a seasonal Porter to ensure that our outdoor facilities run smoothly.

As an integral part of the facilities team, our Porter ensures a safe, clean, and functional environment for members, guests, and associates. This position pays between $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience.

Facilities Technician responsibilities:

1. Consistently present a pleasant, attentive, and courteous attitude toward members, guests, and fellow associates.
2. Identify and troubleshoot facility and fitness equipment repairs on a daily basis.
3. Provide regular upkeep and maintenance of all club property.
4. Maintain knowledge of facilities and follow through on preventative maintenance standards.
5. Take pride in oneself and in their work.

Facilities Technician requirements:

1. Possess a minimum of three years of experience in facilities maintenance.
2. Have functional knowledge of preventative maintenance programs for facilities and plant equipment.
3. Maintain a certified pool operator designation (highly preferred).
4. Be able to identify and troubleshoot facility and equipment-related issues.
5. Be self-directed, requiring little supervision.
6. Possess a sense of urgency and be able to meet deadlines.
7. Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver information clearly, concisely, and timely.
