Job description

Midtown is looking for a seasonal Porter to ensure that our outdoor facilities run smoothly.

As an integral part of the facilities team, our Porter ensures a safe, clean, and functional environment for members, guests, and associates. This position pays between $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include:

1. Consistently presenting a pleasant, attentive, and courteous attitude toward members, guests, and fellow associates.
2. Identifying and troubleshooting facility and fitness equipment repairs on a daily basis.
3. Providing regular upkeep and maintenance of all club property.
4. Maintaining knowledge of facilities and following through on preventative maintenance standards.
5. Taking pride in oneself and their work.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of three years of experience in facilities maintenance.
2. Functional knowledge of preventative maintenance programs of facilities and plant equipment.
3. Maintain a certified pool operator designation (highly preferred).
4. Ability to identify and troubleshoot facility and equipment-related issues.
5. Self-directed with minimal supervision.
6. Sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
7. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver information clearly, concisely, and timely.
