Cleveland-Cliffs is offering a summer Accounting Intern internship at its Indiana Harbor location in East Chicago. You will accumulate, analyze, and report cost information for an assigned operating area, supporting decision-making and resource use for a Fortune 500 company.

The internship involves preparing and examining accounting records, journal entries, and reconciliations, with exposure to corporate accounting and potential for future full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a BS program in Accounting, Finance, or other Business-related field.
• Must have completed at least sophomore year by summer 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and reports for US GAAP compliance.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile financial statements.
• Support cost information analysis for the assigned operating area.
• Assist with Shared Services projects and inventory management in Plant Accounting.
