Philips is offering an internship for Summer 2027 in Colorado Springs, inviting undergrad and/or graduate students in STEM to participate in a 3-6 month paid internship at our site in Colorado Springs, CO. The role provides hands-on experience in health technology product development.

As an Intern – New Product Development Engineer, you will design and build prototypes, work with R&D management and project teams, and support experimental plans and data interpretation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology or related field required.
• Experience with CAD and prototyping techniques.
• Experience with data analysis and software (Excel).
• Knowledge of safe laboratory practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and build prototypes and processes for new product development.
• Work with R&D management and project teams to design and implement research and product development program plans.
• Support the design and execution of experimental plans and interpretation of data from testing.
• Document design and development work.
• Work with project teams to transfer processes to manufacturing.
