Job summary

Ryerson invites students to join its Summer Internship Program in Centralia, WA for 10–12 weeks in the summer of 2027, offering hands-on experience in the metals industry and exposure to real business projects.

Interns will rotate across departments, support quoting and order entry, work with supervision to identify process improvements, and complete tasks with speed and accuracy while delivering satisfactory results.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• Ops/industry experience preferred.
• Available to live in Centralia, WA for summer 2027.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Learn across departments to understand important business processes.
• Support quoting and order entry with speed and accuracy.
• Collaborate with department leads on opportunities for process improvements.
• Complete tasks with speed and accuracy.
• Assist management with other duties as assigned.
