Ryerson invites students to join the Summer Internship Program, a 10-12 week hands-on experience in the metals industry. interns will engage in real projects, collaborate with company leaders, and participate in Q&A sessions to learn how Ryerson operates across departments.

Participants gain exposure to sales, operations, and process improvements while developing professional communications and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Pursuing a Bachelor\'s degree.
• Experience in operations or industrial settings preferred.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to change.
• Positive, goal-oriented and flexible with a drive to excel.

Responsabilidades

• Explore multiple departments to learn core business areas.
• Work within procedures under moderate supervision.
• Contribute to process-improvement projects with department leads.
• Complete tasks with speed and accuracy.
• Learn quoting and order-entry processes and handle sales calls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
