Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Positive attitude, goal-oriented, driven to excel.
• Flexible and solutions-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Spend time with different departments to learn all important aspects of the business.
• Work within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.
• Tasks with opportunities for process improvements in varying areas and work with department leads to devise improvements.
• Tasks must be completed with speed and accuracy.
• Learn quoting/order entry process and handle sales calls meeting customer demands while providing satisfactory service.
• Other duties as assigned by management and supervision.
• All other duties as assigned or may change at any time.

The Ryerson Summer Internship Program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful, real-world projects. Over the course of 10-12 weeks, our interns will collaborate on initiatives that directly influence Ryerson's business, engage with company leaders, and attend Q&A sessions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Spend time with different departments to learn all important aspects of the business

• Tasks must be completed with speed and accuracy
• Learn quoting/order entry process and handle sales calls meeting customer's demands while providing satisfactory service
• Other duties as assigned by management and supervisions
• All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice

Requirements

• Must be working towards Bachelor Degree

Pay rate: $20.00/hr
