Job summary

Clean Harbors in Deer Park, TX is seeking an Operations Support Intern for the Summer 2027 Internship Program. You will shadow District Administrators, provide admin and project support, and assist with billing, documentation, and reporting to help keep branch operations running smoothly.

This full-time internship offers hands-on experience in environmental and industrial services, with opportunities to learn processes and participate in networking and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, or related field.
• Strong interest in learning about business operations and Industrial Services.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel to branch or field locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Shadow District Administrators to learn the administrative processes that support Industrial Services branch and field operations.
• Provide administrative and project support to District Administrators and local branch teams.
• Assist with customer and branch questions, documentation, and administrative follow-up.
• Gain exposure to customer billing, purchase orders, invoicing, reporting, and other operational processes.
• Assist with tracking and resolving administrative items while learning when and how issues are escalated.
• Support branch initiatives, customer projects, events, and process improvements as needed.
• Assist with organizing information and reporting used to support operational and financial processes.
• Gain exposure to employee onboarding, training requirements, and internal systems and processes.
