Clean Harbors, Inc. in La Place, LA is seeking an Operations Intern for the Summer 2027 Industrial Services Internship Program.

The role provides hands-on experience in daily operations, admin coordination, and supporting field teams within the Industrial Services business. Interns will work on-site with the Operations Manager, travel to field locations as needed, and participate in a final internship project at program end.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Business Administration, Business Management, Operations Management, or Engineering.
• Strong interest in business operations, administration, and the Environmental and Industrial Services industry.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by following safe work practices and procedures.
• Assist with daily operations learning alongside the Operations Manager.
• Coordinate employee training, scheduling, and tracking training requirements.
• Support travel arrangements, including transportation and lodging.
• Answer and direct incoming calls and facilitate communication between employees, managers, and field teams.
• Provide administrative support and maintain records and operational documents.
• Assist with daily scheduling and coordination of field operations.
• Travel to field locations to gain hands-on exposure to Industrial Services operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and operational efficiency.
