Job summary

Children’s Minnesota offers a 10-week Student Nurse Intern (SNI) program for nursing students, allowing you to work alongside a registered nurse in a clinical setting during Day, Evening, or Night shifts. The paid internship provides hands-on experience while you complete a Minnesota nursing program.

Students must be enrolled in an approved nursing program, maintain BLS certification, and enroll in a Summer Intern course in Minnesota for the duration of the internship.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a pre-licensure associate or baccalaureate degree nursing program graduating between August 2027 to May 2028.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Enrolled in a Summer Intern course at a Minnesota university/college for the internship duration.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a registered nurse in a clinical setting.
• Experience full-time hours of 0.75–0.9 FTE on Day, Evening, or Night shifts.
• The internship is paid and supports nursing education.
