Ebenezer's 2027 Summer Nurse Internship program offers an individualized RN experience in a skilled nursing setting. You will be mentored by registered nurses, observing interdisciplinary care teams to enhance clinical skills while pursuing your RN degree.

Graduate candidates from ADN/BSN/Entry-level MSN programs between December 2027 and September 2028 may join the paid internship, located at Ebenezer Ridges in Burnsville, MN.

Qualifikationen

• Graduating ADN/BSN/Entry-level MSN RN program between Dec 2027 and Sept 2028.
• Currently enrolled in Minnesota-based nursing program and will complete internship.
• Complete and pass the Summer 2027 college internship course.
• Completed at least one RN clinical rotation by internship start date.
• BLS/CPR certification required upon hire.
• Ability to work with diverse patient populations and coworkers.

Job Overview

Looking to grow your nursing experience as a student and start your career in Aging Services and Short term rehab? Want to gain confidence in providing patient cares and earn preferential status for employment as RN with Ebenezer, upon graduation!

Ebenezer's 2027 Summer Nurse Internship program provides an individualized educational RN experience in TCU, caring for adults patients of all ages, whom are admitted directly to a Ebenezer care facility from a hospital. The paid intern program is tailored to meet your nursing career goal and you will be mentored one-on-one with registered nurses to gain hands‑on nursing experience. Our program provides opportunities to enhance your technical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills in a skilled nursing setting. In addition to learning RN skills, our intern will observe other nursing roles and interdisciplinary team members. Candidates must be graduating with ADN, BSN, or Entry level masters RN degree between Dec. 2027‑Sept 2028.

Located at Ebenezer Ridges Transitional Care Unit in the south metro of the twin cities. Our TCU is 24 beds unit and part of a full continuum of care campus including 90 Long term care, Intergenerational Childcare, Enhanced Care, Adult Day Care Center, and Assisted Living/Memory Care. Located across the street from Fairview Ridges Hospital at the I-35E and I-35W split in Burnsville, MN.

Estimated SNI schedule will run May 24-25 (virtual new employee) and June 1 - Aug 13, 2027. Position is 64 hours in two weeks, Day shifts, mainly 8:30 am-5pm, with some 6/6:30 am-2:00pm shifts sprinkled in over the summer to gain a well rounded nursing experience. As well some shifts in LTC will be provided to better understand our aging residents/patitents. One weekend is required during the summer, no required holidays.

Opportunities to move into a casual/part-time schedule as an resident or nursing assistant with a Ebenezer care facility, while you complete your RN degree.

Required Qualifications

• Strong desire to become a RN with Ebenezer (any of our 35+ locations) upon graduation
• Currently enrolled in a ADN, BSN, Entry level masters RN program and graduating between Dec 2027- Sept 2028
• Enroll, complete, and pass an summer 2027 college internship course at a Minnesota based school of nursing
• Completed one nursing rn clinical rotation by start date of nurse internship
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) Upon Hire
• Able to work with a diverse population of patients and coworkers including subacute/geriatric

Preferred Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• work experience in healthcare/senior care setting
