Job summary

SSR Mining Inc. is offering a full-time, paid Summer 2026 internship in the Metallurgy Department at the Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine, Cripple Creek, CO. Enrolled undergrads in Metallurgical/Chemical Engineering with graduation for December 2026 or later are invited to apply.

The internship runs May–August with start/end date flexibility based on student availability and business needs. On-site exposure to lab operations and cross-training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate pursuing Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering.
• Expected graduation December 2026 or later.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication, team mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support daily metallurgical lab operations and assist with technical projects.
• Perform sample preparation, process tests, data collection and report writing.
• Collaborate with metallurgists and technical team to solve challenges.
• Potential cross-training in other Metallurgy Department areas.
