Job summary

Guardian invites an MBA intern to join the 2027 Summer Internship Program in New York. You will work within the Business Transformation organization of FPRS, supporting portfolio planning or AI enablement using AI tools like Copilot, Tableau, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• First-year MBA student graduating between Dec 2027 and Jun 2028.
• Proactive and comfortable with ambiguity, able to listen and decide quickly.
• Strong problem-solving and business acumen with structured thinking.
• Proficient in financial modeling, sizing opportunities, and working with imperfect data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; advanced Excel and PowerPoint incl. AI features.
• Hands-on use of generative AI tools for business problems; strong prompting skills.
• Understanding of AI limits, human judgment, verification, and responsible use.
• Comfort with Tableau/Power BI or similar data viz tools and willingness to learn new platforms.
• Ability to influence stakeholders with maturity and collaboration across teams.
• Self-starter with high energy and readiness to contribute.

Responsibilities

• Own a substantive workstream tied to portfolio planning or AI enablement.
• Conduct market, competitor, and internal research to inform decisions.
• Build analyses behind business cases, sizing, value capture, or adoption metrics.
• Prepare executive-ready materials for Guardian senior leaders.
• Develop AI adoption metrics and track productivity gains.
• Create training materials, prompts, and playbooks to scale AI use across FPRS.
• Collaborate with value stream leaders, product managers, finance partners, and tech leaders.
