Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College is seeking a part-time Trio Summer Academy Math instructor for high school students (9th–12th grade). This six-week role runs June–July with planning in June, about 12–15 hours weekly, 1:00 pm–3:30 pm, Monday–Thursday.

The instructor will develop lesson plans, assessments, and maintain grade reports while providing a written summary for each class. Bachelor’s in Math or related field and teaching experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Math or related field required.
• Experience teaching Math to high school and/or college students.
• Experience working with youth from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Math to high school students (9th–12th grade).
• Monitors and logs attendance, behavior and progress.
• Develops daily lesson plans and assessments.
