Qualificações

• Must be enrolled as a part-time/full-time student at a college, university, or technical institute at the time they apply.
• By the start of the internship, the student should have completed one year (nine months) of their chosen program.

Responsabilidades

• Perform tests on highway construction materials in the SDDOT Central Materials lab.
• Verify that hot mix asphalt and/or Portland cement concrete designs meet the design criteria.
• Collect ground penetrating radar (GPR) data, analyze results, and generate reports for steel placement in Portland cement concrete pavements.
• Limited travel throughout South Dakota for construction project inspections and highway construction materials testing.
