Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation, a leading innovator in forklift and material handling equipment, is seeking a Summer 2027 Material Planning Co-op in New Bremen, OH. You will assist in creating and updating production schedules, identify material shortages, and analyze data to support planning decisions.

You will work with production, procurement, and logistics teams, participate in daily planning meetings, and help document standard operating procedures and training materials related to planning.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, updating, and monitoring daily/weekly production schedules.
• Identify shortages or overages of materials and recommend actions.
• Collect and analyze production data and prepare reports/dashboards.
• Enter and maintain data in ERP systems; support data accuracy for materials, BOMs, and routing.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to align plans.
• Participate in daily planning meetings and reviews; identify planning inefficiencies.
