Job summary

The Cox Enterprises summer Marketing Intern will support Cox’s brand across channels, from social to paid media, event prep and copywriting. You’ll gain hands-on experience with real campaigns and mentors to help you learn.

You’ll rotate through projects, collaborating with creative and marketing teams, track engagement, and help refine content for clarity and impact while developing your professional network.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in marketing, communications, advertising, business or a related field.
• Strong communicator with good instincts and attention to detail.
• Self-starter who stays flexible and asks good questions.

Responsibilities

• Create content for social, web, email and campaigns — from draft to published post.
• Support social media planning and community engagement, and help track engagement.
• Contribute to website projects like refreshing pages, testing UX and updating content for clarity.
• Assist with audience and industry research.
• Support paid media planning, channel mixes and performance reporting.
• Pitch in on events and activations and partner with design team to craft briefs.
