Job summary

The Branch Group in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Summer 2027 Marketing Intern to join our team. You will work with the marketing group on real projects, under mentorship, gaining hands-on experience in branding, content creation, and digital campaigns.

This full-time internship (40+ hours/week) offers exposure to social media, market research, events, and web updates, with guidance from seasoned professionals as you build practical skills in a fast-paced construction industry setting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Courteous and professional attitude with coworkers and the public.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and team setting.
• Excellent organization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel may be required; valid driver's license with clean record.
• Proficiency with WordPress, HTML/CSS, and related web design languages is a plus.
• Knowledge of Adobe programs (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and maintain project timelines.
• Assist various marketing initiatives including content creation and event planning.
• Create and schedule social media content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Conduct market research and analyze competitors to identify opportunities.
• Assist with website updates as needed.
• Manage marketing administrative tasks and track campaign performance.
• Support organization of company events and vendor coordination.
• Contribute to marketing materials and video/photo production.
• Interact with different business units from office to construction sites.
• Prepare a final presentation outlining internship experience with peers.
