Job summary

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago is offering a summer internship in our Market Risk Earnings Analysis team. You will be engaged in projects that affect risk management and strategic planning across financial risk factors.

The internship begins May 2026 with a flexible start date based on your school schedule. You will analyze metrics, help automate reporting with tooling, and gain exposure to multiple asset classes in a collaborative, in-office environment.

Qualifications

• GPA of at least 3.0 and in good academic standing.
• Preferred knowledge of Excel, SQL and Python.
• All fields of study listed are acceptable for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze report metrics to support risk management and strategic planning.
• Help automate processes or reporting with RPA or software tools.
• Gain exposure to different asset classes and provide perspective on projects.
• Create structured documentation for various processes.
