Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Summer 2027 Manufacturing Scientist/Technical Services Intern at Clinton, IN to join the Technical and Manufacturing Science teams to deliver practical solutions, reduce analytical variability, support a technical project, or implement new lab methods. Interns gain exposure to diverse career paths and subject matter experts with site-wide impact.

Internship dates are May 17th – August 6th, 2027.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or similar major.

Responsibilities

• Understand the manufacturing environment and how to collaborate with different stakeholders to solve problems.
• Work within cross-functional teams to implement process or lab improvements.
• Learn about fermentation, product recovery, product finishing, or packaging.
• Data visualization tool creation/usage and documentation updates.
