Job summary

Level Green Landscaping offers a paid 10-week summer internship designed to challenge active college students in the horticulture field. The program rotates interns through the branch operational team, with mentor support and cross-training to explore roles within the company.

Participants gain hands-on experience in multiple landscape disciplines and are evaluated for full-time opportunities after graduation as part of a culture focused on safety, community, and client service.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently active college student attending a university/college in a horticultural field (or an adjacent major).
• Must be available Monday through Friday.
• Must be capable of outdoor work
• Must be able to commute to office locations.
• Come with ideas that will offer different perspectives to the landscaping industry
• This internship is a paid opportunity ranging from ($18-$22 per hour)

Responsibilities

• Shadow Branch Manager, Account Manager and Operations Manager to discover your niche.
• Mentor program with a manager to assist learning and exposure to the landscape industry.
• Management training covering business development, leadership, project management, account management, and branch administration.

Our paid summer college student internship Program is 10 weeks long and is designed to challenge active college students to learn and prosper in the horticulture field while being mentored by the best of the best in the industry. It’s also a structured, rotational experience designed to provide college students an inside look at every role within the branch operational team. We offer a customized program tailored for each intern that will allow your passion to be discovered within the Landscape industry.

• Locations- Branches in Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia
• In-depth Orientation - A thorough company orientation, which will assist in determining your goals with our company positions
• Cross-training - Job Shadowing with a Branch Manager, Account Manager, and Operations Manager will help you discover your perfect niche and is a great opportunity to learn skills in the different positions within the company
• Mentor Program – Hands-on experience and exposure to the landscape industry by having one of our managers assigned to you to assist with the learning process, and exposure to the landscape industry
• Management Training - You will gain experience in all aspects of the business, as well as gain technical knowledge, leadership training, business development, presentation skills, project management, account management, branch administration, sales, and estimating
