Job summary

Genentech is offering a 2027 Summer Intern - Product Technical Development in South San Francisco, on-site. The 12-week, full-time paid internship provides an opportunity to work on challenging projects in a world‑leading biotech environment with a $2500 OSA stipend and end-of-program presentations to senior leaders.

You will contribute to wet-lab or dry-lab development areas, collaborating with scientists across multiple disciplines and presenting work to leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree with at least 2 years completed.
• Bachelor's degree within 2 years of application date and not enrolled in graduate program.
• Relevant work experience in research labs or biotechnology is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support PTDUP projects in cell culture/fermentation, purification, analytical chemistry, or drug delivery development.
• Design, execute, and analyze wet-lab or dry-lab experiments under supervision.
• Assist in data analysis, documentation, and synthesis of project results.
• Prepare final presentations of project work for senior leaders.
• Collaborate with scientists and other interns to meet program goals.
• Contribute to ongoing development activities and maintain safety practices.
