Job summary

Genentech is offering a 12-week, full-time paid internship in South San Francisco focused on Digital Sciences within Pharmaceutical Technical Development. Interns will work 40 hours per week on challenging, business-critical projects and present findings to senior leaders.

Applicants should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree (2+ years completed) or have a degree within the last two years, with programming/cs experience (Python, R, Flask, Django, React) desirable.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree at the time of application (having completed at least 2 years of the degree program)
• Bachelor's degree within 2 years of application date and not currently enrolled in grad school
• Coding experience with Python, R, Flask, Django, React in a research lab or biotech setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Leverage programming, ML, and AI skills on digital projects for PTD.
• Develop full-stack tools and data science models to enable insights from data.
• Contribute to antibody visualization, lipid modeling, and database/eLN schema projects.
• Assist in in-silico studies and protein stability analyses.
