Job summary

Genentech in South San Francisco, CA is seeking a 2027 Summer Intern in Product Technical Development within Engineering and Manufacturing. The 12-week, full-time internship offers an OSA stipend of $2,500 and hands-on projects in drug delivery, device development, and pilot plant operations.

Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years completed, or have earned a bachelor’s degree within the past 2 years and not be enrolled in a graduate program. On-site in SSF.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree at the time of application (having completed at least 2 years of the degree program).
• Must have attained a bachelor's degree within 2 years of your application date and must not be currently enrolled in a graduate program.

Responsibilities

• Support project work in Drug Delivery Technology Development, Device Development, Pilot Plant Operations, Process Development Engineering, Manufacturing Science & Technology, Clinical Supply Center, or Facilities & Engineering.
• Collaborate with plant engineers, project managers, process specialists, and packaging/dev engineers.
• Assist with GMP compliance and process development activities.
• Contribute to development and testing of drug delivery devices and packaging.
