Interns will work on software development, data integration, analytics, GIS data handling, and dashboard creation, gaining hands-on experience across multiple IT domains within a major energy company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Data Science, or related field (Applies to SAP, Infrastructure, Operations Technology Solutions, & Application Development).
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geology, or closely related field (GIS).
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials, and the public.
• Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Required: Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Develop new software applications and modify existing ones for clients, ensuring quality and timely completion.
• Test software to verify it meets requirements and designs.
• Participate in scoping and design exercises with development, basis, and security teams (SAP Technical).
• Coordinate with senior staff to manage code according to source control strategy.
• Diagnose and resolve unique problems in application software and operations systems.
• Digitize, process, and manage GIS data using ESRI products; produce quality maps and outputs.
• Collate data for integration and analytical projects within data infrastructure.
• Create dashboards and reports using PowerBI to visualize KPIs and trends.
• Build data connections and support report developers with secure data access.
• Apply advanced analytics tools including DAX and PowerBI data processing to optimize reports.
• Assist HR and Corporate Services apps design, development, and enhancement to improve processes.
• Gather requirements, perform testing, troubleshoot issues, and support implementation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to identify automation opportunities and maintain documentation.
