Job summary

Blue Bird is hiring for its Summer Internship Program at our Macon, Georgia facility. This experience builds a sustainable pipeline of entry-level talent and may lead to the Future Drivers Leadership Program (FDLP).

Interns will work on meaningful projects across Human Resources, Operations, Commercial, Engineering and IT, complete a final project presentation to leadership, and be evaluated on performance and readiness for potential full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Sophomore to graduate student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree aligned to one of the areas listed.
• Must be at least 18 years old before internship start date and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Enrollment in the specified functional areas and eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work that supports department goals in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
• Support process improvement, data-driven problem-solving, and collaboration across teams.
• Participate in a core assignment and a special project delivering measurable value.
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to mentors and leadership.
• Present internship learnings and project results to the Leadership Team.
