Job summary

Kinder Morgan's BOLT Intern Program invites you to gain hands-on experience in the energy industry this summer in Houston. As an Intern in Application Development, you will collaborate with a team to deliver practical software solutions while considering hardware/software constraints.

You will code, test, document, and present Windows-based reports and processes using VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML5, JavaScript, Power BI, and MS SQL Server.

Qualifications

• Working towards Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or a related degree.
• Experience in Winforms, .NET and MS SQL is recommended.
• Individuals must be team players and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Entering junior or senior year; seniors graduating December 2027 or later are eligible.
• Work location will be the Houston Headquarters or other Kinder Morgan locations could be considered.

Responsibilities

• Developing and testing software components while documenting results.
• Collaborating with the Application Development team to deliver solutions using VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML5, and JavaScript.
• Assisting in building dashboards and data reports with Power BI and MS SQL Server.
