Job summary

Upbound Group, Inc., headquartered in Plano, Texas, is offering a 10-week Summer Internship in IT Asset Management. As an intern, you will assist with software entitlement management, license compliance, EOS/EOL tracking, software inventory data quality, and reporting.

You will gain hands-on experience in enterprise software management, licensing, governance and cost optimization while supporting senior ITAM staff.

Qualifications

• Strong academic performance with GPA 3.2 or higher.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to document findings clearly.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to research and document findings independently.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Interest in IT Asset Management and enterprise IT processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with software entitlement management and licensing documentation.
• Support software compliance reviews and vendor audits.
• Track EOS/EOL status and vendor lifecycle information.
• Validate software inventory data and improve asset accuracy.
• Support cost optimization, renewal prep, and spend analysis.
• Create and maintain software asset reports and dashboards.
