Job summary

Lord Abbett's Investment Associate Internship Program is a nine-week summer experience to launch a career in investment management. Interns rotate within Taxable Fixed Income, Tax-Free Fixed Income, Equities, or Private Investments and gain exposure to portfolio construction, data analytics, and trading.

You will work with seasoned professionals, build cross-team relationships, and participate in training to deepen market knowledge.

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree with eligibility for full-time employment in Summer 2028.
Outstanding academic background and attention to detail.
Passion for investing.
Superior analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
Resourcefulness, team-orientation, enthusiasm, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and written reports on companies, industry trends, and investment recommendations.
Support investment professionals in generating alpha through portfolio management support and research.
Prepare reports and presentations for investment recommendations.
Leverage digital tools to generate unique investment insights with data teams.
Participate in formal and informal training to expand knowledge.
Perform in-depth company research by sector or asset class.
Build and maintain relationships across the investment team.
